Just home after a fab weekend in Wicklow and wanted to thank you both sincerely for a really good weekend. The workshop has evolved into a real “must have” for all runners.
In your own words the ‘gold standard’. It has become one of those workshops that you need to do on a yearly basis as you will always come away having learnt something new as the content seems to be constantly updated due in no small part to the number of courses you attend yourselves and your own commitment to lifelong learning.
This year I felt it was less intensive but more effective which allowed me to absorb more. Last time I got the big picture but this time I got the fine print as well.It is really good to do a course that is goal orientated and that inspires action especially when you leave knowing EXACTLY what that action is. There is nothing like a list to fuel the OCD and to motivate you into action. Love it. So it’s “ass to grass” and “operation hip & thoracic extension” in this house.
You both coach effortlessly and have the innate ability to magically convince people of the impossible. I will be looking at Coillte gates in a new light! It was a really good relaxed weekend that has left me with plenty to think about. I have been on too many courses in the past that I have forgotten the content of by the time I get home. This is not one of them.
It is hard to express the impact the last year has had on the way I think about running. Pbs are still important but somehow you have managed to subliminally brainwash me into the ‘Champions Everywhere’ way of thinking and in case you hadn’t noticed that’s no small feat! Thanks again truly appreciated.
